(We plan to make our food choice from the party menu and this will either be BBQ in style or Buffet. There new Seasons menu comes out soon) There will of course be vegetarian and gluten free options, please let us know of any special requirements. There will be some sort of refreshment drink to start and then it will be a case of get what you'd like from the garden bar.

Arty in the Park - Woking - WSA

ARTY in the Park with Woking Society of Arts

9th July 2016

As a society we have been given the exciting opportunity to use a professional 3m x 3m gazebo to publicise ourselves as a Society and sell our work at Party in the Park Woking this summer. We plan to use browsers for this.

The event takes place 12pm - 6pm Saturday 9th July at Woking Park. And regularly attracts 6000 local visitors. It is a wonderful, fun, action packed event and great for family and friends.

What we will need from you to take part:

· Submission of a form to say you are taking part by June 6th Vyne meeting. Either on Line via WSAsubmit@mail.com or on paper to Hannah’s address below.

· Up to 10 pieces of browser style portfolio works (without frames)

  • Originals are best but we will accept up to five prints.
· Work will be wrapped according to the rules of the outdoor exhibition and labeled with name, address, phone number and price. Pricing will be set between £10 - £70.

· Work delivered to Hannah Bruce’s house (Heathdene, South Road, Horsell, GU214JW – opposite Heather Close) on Thursday 7th July and Friday 8th July. Between 5pm and 9pm.

Find here the link to the Submission of intent to participate. Due by the 6th June.

Please leave art at Hannah’s in Cellophane – we cannot unwrap bubble wrap for all work – take it with you. Unsuitable work will have to be withdrawn by those organizing. We take every precaution with art work but it is submitted at the Artists own risk and you will need your own insurance. Hannah will take the art to the event in her own car – as we have to have prior permit permission to drive onto the park. The price range is carefully selected and we plan to have posters to say such.

You need to be a Woking Society of Arts paid member to take part.

Should you wish to join you are most welcome: £26 for Adult membership and £13 for Under 18 or student membership.
